About Us

Welcome to Restormate! We’re a family-owned business nestled in Cramlington, just north of Newcastle upon Tyne, in the stunning county of Northumberland.

Our story began in 1994 when John kicked off a successful Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning business, tackling everything from residential homes to commercial spaces. After diving into the exciting world of Fire and Flood Restoration and Trauma Scene Cleaning in 1998, John and his wife, Lynn, launched Restormate in 2005 to supply the industry with the tools it needs.

With years of hands-on experience under our belts, we know a thing or two about the right equipment and cleaning solutions. This enables us to give advice as well as recommending the most suitable products to meet your particular needs. It’s not uncommon to find John juggling two phones—one for our office and the other for customers in the midst of a challenging job, dishing out emergency advice faster than you can say “spot treatment!”

In addition to carrying products from leading manufacturers we’re also very proud of our own ‘Restore’ range. These products have quickly become favourites among our customers because they deliver results—after all, we only stock items that we would use ourselves!

At Restormate, customer service is our top priority. We’re here to ensure you get the support you need, whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out. So, if you have questions or need a bit of guidance, don’t hesitate to reach out.
