Excellent, does exactly what it claims to do...soot and carbon marks removed by wiping with this dry chem sponge.

To be totally accurate I am not providing a review of the product but of the fabulous service I received from RestroMate. I had ordered these sponges and called with a question about use of the product. John was so helpful. He's clearly been in the business for years and knows his stuff. The bottom line is that I had ordered the wrong product for my need and I had a refund within a minute of ending the call. They had already packaged my order up ready to send, The advice John gave me effectively meant that I might not need to buy anything. How refreshing and what fabulous customer service.

I made the point about their trade name as this really has restored my faith in high quality customer service provision.

This sponge was brilliant at cleaning the soot from our wood burning stove off the walls and ceiling. It looks like a new room. I had already tried wiping it off with various things which just smudged it. This sponge is really amazing and a 'must have' if you have a stove. Saves on decorating!

I have a wood/coal stove, so this sponge is a godsend. I only wish I knew about these before I decided to wipe down the wall above the mantle! As I will be redecorating this is not so bad. It was also difficult to find these in the UK so another plus for Restormate and the delivery is superfast.
