GENERAL
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery within mainland UK. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.
TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the value of the incorrect price.
DESCRIPTION OF GOODS
All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. Detailed specifications are available on request.
PRICES & TAX
Unless otherwise shown the price stated for the goods excludes VAT and delivery. These additions are made at the checkout page and are clearly shown before you reach the point of submitting your order. The shipping/delivery charges are for the United Kingdom mainland only and export shipping charges are available upon application. Deliveries to certain remote destinations within the UK (i.e. Highlands, Islands and parts of Wales) may be subject to a supplement charge. We recommend that you contact us to obtain a price before you place an order. The price you pay will include VAT for all deliveries within the European Union. For deliveries outside the EU no VAT will be charged, however, import duties may be payable on receipt of the goods. You will be liable for any import duties levied.
COURIER
In the majority of cases a Courier will be used to deliver your order. Courier deliveries are 'Next Working Day' as long as the order is received by us before 2pm. We can also deliver on a Saturday, or timed AM - please contact us for details. We will always send you an email confirming dispatch of your order and the method by which it has been sent. If your order is sent via Courier, the email will contain the consignment details including the number of parcels in your order and the consignment number. A link will also be given to the Courier website where you can Track your order. If, when the Courier calls, no one is available to accept the parcel, the Courier will automatically attempt to leave the parcel with a Neighbour. Please note that, due to Covid, deliveries are now contact free (no signature will be obtained on delivery). Instead the driver will take a photograph of the parcel(s), either at your open door should you be at home when they call, or a photograph of them in the designated 'safe place'. If no Neighbour is able to accept delivery on your behalf, and there are no leave safe instructions, the Courier usually leaves a Card through the door, informing you that delivery has been attempted. A second attempt will be made by the Courier (usually the next day). If this attempt is unsuccessful for the same reason then a further charge may be incurred to get the parcel delivered on the third attempt. Alternatively, the parcel can be collected by you from the local delivery depot (you will need the Consignment Number and proof of ID). Please note that should you give leave safe instructions, or you enter these instructions via the DHL website (after an unsuccessful delivery attempt has been made), then you do so at your own risk - we cannot take responsibility for any items that have been left as instructed then end up being stolen or going missing. DHL have GPS tracking devices fitted to all vehicles so they can check that the driver was actually at the property. In the event that a parcel is returned to us due to unsuccessful delivery attempts, and non-payment of re-scheduled delivery or non-collection, then the charge that is incurred by us for the parcel's return will be passed onto the customer and deducted from the refund.
Please note that our Courier Charge of £9.50 + VAT and Free Delivery if orders are above £90 net of VAT only covers orders being dispatched to mainland UK excluding Highlands and Islands (including Isle of Wight). Please contact us before placing an order if orders are being dispatched to the following Post Codes: AB31-AB38, AB40-AB56, BT, IM, IV, KA, KW1-KW14, PA20-PA78, PH4-PH50, PO, HS, ZE.
Republic of Ireland/Europe - Please note that currently we are not dispatching orders to any area outside of GB/NI. Channel Islands - Please contact us before placing an order via our website.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
We accept most major credit and debit cards for online purchases through WorldPay. As such, you can be guaranteed a safe and secure transation. You may also pay by cheque although we cannot despatch the goods until payment has been cleared which can take at least 3 days from receipt of cheque. All payments are made to "Restormate". Please note that we only accept payments for international orders via Bank Transfer. If you submit an order for delivery outside of Mainland UK, and pay via any other option available on our website, a full refund will be made and your order will not be dispatched.
AVAILABILITY OF GOODS
All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. We offer no absolute guarantee of availability and this website does not constitute an offer for sale. Upon receipt of your order we will contact you, either by telephone or email, to advise you of the availability of the item you have ordered and to let you know of any suitable alternative should your product not be immediately available.
DELIVERY TIMES
Delivery of goods in stock will normally take 1-2 working days. However, sometimes due to stock unavailability the delivery can be longer than this. If this is so, Restormate will contact you and agree a delivery date. Goods are also available for collection from our Depot. This requires prior arrangement.
GUARANTEES
All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of the Manufacturers Guarantee for a period of at least 12 months.
CANCELLATION OF ORDERS
The placement of an order confirms your acceptance that we have up to 14 days to despatch your goods from cleared payment. For delays of more than 14 days, you will have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you for the goods.
RETURNS POLICY
All goods are sold under our guarantee that they are operated in accordance to the manufacturers specifications. If the goods are found to be faulty, you may return the goods to our depot (at your expense) and receive either repairs to the equipment or replacement goods (return to you will be at our expense). This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect and misuse. In addition, routine maintenance of consumables (plug fuses, cables, etc), cosmetic damage is not covered. This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have.
OWNERSHIP
Goods will remain the property of Restormate until such time as full payment has been received and cleared.
OTHER
Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you. English Law will apply to any disputes or payment defaults.
